FAQ
Questions, answered.
The things business owners most often ask before working with us. Don’t see yours? Call 224-284-6246 or email info@resourcefuldata.co.
Where is Resourceful Data located?
Our office is at 15 Parkway North Blvd Apt 225, Deerfield, IL 60015. We support businesses remotely anywhere in the US and on site across Deerfield, the North Shore and the northern Chicago suburbs.
What size businesses do you work with?
Most of our clients have between 5 and 150 employees. We also support solo professionals with sensitive data and larger organizations that need co-managed IT.
How does pricing work?
Managed plans are a flat fee per user per month, based on the coverage level you choose. Projects are quoted at a fixed price, and occasional support is available in prepaid hour blocks.
How fast do you respond?
Our response target is 15 minutes for business-down emergencies and one business hour for high-priority issues during business hours. Plans with after-hours coverage include on-call escalation.
How long does onboarding take?
Most businesses are fully onboarded in two to four weeks: assessment, documentation, tool deployment and fixing urgent findings.
Can you work with our existing IT person?
Yes. Co-managed IT gives your internal staff our tools, monitoring, security stack and extra hands without replacing anyone.
Do you require a long-term contract?
After a 90-day onboarding period, standard managed agreements are month-to-month with 30 days' notice.
What happens if we leave?
We hand over all documentation, passwords and admin access in an orderly way. Your data and accounts always belong to you.
Do you support Macs as well as PCs?
Yes. We support Windows and macOS, iOS and Android, and the cloud apps your team uses every day.
Is the first assessment really free?
Yes. The initial IT assessment is free and comes with a written summary of findings, whether or not you become a client.
